Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe is a novel about the adventure of the protagonist. As the novel begins, Robinson breaks free of his family and the middle-class society in which they live in order to pursue his own life.
Crusoe is a young and impulsive wanderer, he defies his parents and goes to sea. He gets involved in a series of violent storms at sea. During his voyages , he is shipwrecked and cast away on an isolated island.
