The book is about a boy called Jim Hawkins. His parents had an inn named the Admiral Benbow. One day, a man arrived at the inn carrying a big sea chest. After the man died, Jim decided to find the sea chest. When he found it, he opened the box and discovered a treasure map inside. Then, Jim decided to go on a treasure hunt with the help of the gentleman called Trelawney and with Dr. Livesey.
